Climbing in the Broumov Region

Rock climbing has a long-standing tradition in the Broumov area, with several popular climbing spots. These include the Adršpach Rocks, Teplice Rocks, Křížový vrch, Bischofstein – Jirásek Rocks, Ostaš, the Broumov Walls, and the Polish Góry Stołowe (Table Mountains).

Climbing on sandstone comes with specific rules, especially as you’ll be exploring a protected landscape area (CHKO). Before heading out, we recommend checking the detailed guidelines and climbing regulations for the locations mentioned above.

A dedicated Mountain Rescue Service operates in the area to ensure visitor safety.
